It all depends on you ask.
Any meat that sits give the person who consumes a significantly higher risk of infection from bacteria such as E. coli.
Many veterans swear by this method, but that does not necessarily mean that it is useful, much less secure.
If you or your friends insist on using this method, please make sure you are well cooked Baroque. Use a meat thermometer to be sure. Appearances are deceptive.
