I did last week in Estes Park, CO. If you are around the many shops, I noticed a wooden resonance theme sculptures. Some were very spacious and well, and some figures were simple. I thought maybe this would be a pastime of winter, good for me. Has always had an artistic streak and may very well characterized, and it was many years ago, I carpentry in school. So I am comfortable with cutting tools.

My question is, how do I start? Should I buy a good knife and a piece of soft wood carving and start to get an idea? Or should a course? Buy a book?

What is the best way to do without much money?
